ID Protect Whois Privacy is a value-added service that replaces the contact details on a domain that are visible in a Whois lookup with placeholder information. Enom is GDPR-compliant, so most domain contact information will be redacted in a public Whois lookup by default. Certain TLDs do not allow for privacy protection of any kind. Accredited third parties can also still view a domain's contact details in a gated Whois lookup. ID Protect replaces the contact information in both the public and gated Whois lookups with placeholder data.

- Click on your domain name.
Note: If your domain is not under the Registered section, check the Expired section. - Choose Contact information from the Manage domain dropdown.

- Click Save changes.
Registrant email forwarding
Enom will forward emails sent to the address listed on the ID Protected domain (e.g. EMDIWJQ@whoisprivacyprotect.com) to the registrant email address. The emails are forwarded to the registrant email only, not the admin, tech, or billing email addresses. The ID Protect email is changed several times a year to prevent spam.
A forwarding email address is visible when someone does a Whois lookup on a domain with ID Protect on it:
